Ich hoffe, ihr seid alle gut ins… naja, fast neue… Jahr gekommen. Ich habe den ersten Blues des Jahres mit Farbe bekämpft und ein alternatives Titelbild für meinen schrecklich langweiligen Bürokalender gematscht.
Lange keine Challenge mehr mitgemacht, aber bei Craft Stamper – Take it Make it gibt es diesen Monat ein offenes Thema und bei den 3 Muses ist ein Word (oder eine Redewendung) für den Monat Januar gefragt. 
I hope you all had a good start into the… well almost new… year. I fought the first blues of 2018 with lots of colour and made an alternative header for my super-boring office calender. Text translates „now & here“.
I haven’t played along with other challenges than the Daring Cardmakers‘ ones in a while but there’s an open theme at Craft Stamper – Take it Make it this month and the 3 Muses have asked to show a word (or quote) for the month of january, so I’m entering there.

Diese Woche stellt Sharon das Thema bei den Daring Cardmakers und sie möchte Karten sehen, auf denen nur Primärfarben verwendet wurden. Gar nicht so einfach! Aber wenigstens mal wieder schön rumgeschmaddelt…
It’s Sharon’s turn to choose the Daring Cardmakers‘ weekly challenge and she has asked for cards on which only primary colours have been used. Not an easy challenge! But at least I got to get a little messy with paint…

Ein kleiner Mixed Media-Karton, den ich neulich fabriziert habe. Ich habe meine neuen Neocolor II benutzt und ziemlich viel Acrylfarbe. Den Dina Wakley-Stempel fand ich perfekt dazu.
Außerdem passt das Ergebnis zur aktuellen Challenge beim Craft Stamper: „stencilling“.
A small mixed media-carton that I made the other day using my new Neocolor II markes and quite some acrylic paint. I think the Dina Wakley-stamp is just perfect on the background.

Tja, da nimmt man sich zum neuen Jahr vor, die Zeit mehr zu genießen, zu Ruhe zu kommen… und schon ist wieder eine Woche nur so an mir vorbeigerauscht.
Bei den Daring Cardmakers geht es aktuell um „january blues“ – was allerdings keine Aufforderung zum kollektiven Trübsalblasen sein soll! Vielmehr möchten wir Werke in oder mit Blautönen von euch sehen.
Ich habe auf Passepartout-Karton mit Fresco Finish Farben herumgespielt, die schon eine Weile auf ihren Einsatz gewartet haben. Und wo ich gerade dabei war, habe ich auch noch eine Stiftebox aus Furnierholz passend gestaltet.
This week’s challenge by the Daring Cardmakers is called „january blues“ – but we’re not at all calling for collective moping there! Much more we’d like to see some creations in or with shades of blue.
I’ve been playing around with some Fresco Finish paints that I’ve had for a while now. And while I was at it, I also decorated a wooden pencil box to go with my cardstock-canvas.
