Bei den drei Musen sind diese Woche Beziehungen das Thema. Für diese Karte habe ich zwei ganz besonders schöne Kontaktanzeigen verwendet, ich glaube sie standen sogar in derselben Zeitung. Findet ihr nicht auch, dass diese beiden geradezu füreinander bestimmt sind?

Relationships are this week’s challenge from the three muses. I have used two lonely hearts ads that I think harmonize especially well, I even think I clipped them from the same newspaper. She is an educated, versatile and culturally interested Philippine lady of 50 in want of a non-boring cosmopolitan German for friendship or more. He is a 63 year old presentable and tolerant „character“ who has traveled the world in want of a female who should be younger and pretty. His hobbies are: TV, nudism, sunbathing, swimming, parties, strolling, traveling and photography. Don’t you, too, think that these two were just meant to be?

…ach nee, Beine sind das Thema der Woche bei den drei Musen – aber da im Schwäbischen der Fuß ja durchaus mal bis zur Hüfte reicht, geht der Titel trotzdem durch.

Bei den drei Musen ist Musik das Thema der Woche. Und Musik führt quasi nahtlos zu Tanz.

This week’s subject of the three muses challenge is music. And it’s never a long way from music to dance.

Das Thema der Woche bei den drei Musen ist „Architektur“ – mag sein, dass meine Karte angesichts der aktuellen Debatten nicht gerade populär ist, aber mir gefällt trotzdem die Idee eines Doms als Wolkenkuckucksheim.

Die Natur ist diese Woche das Thema bei den drei Musen. Auch wenn diese kleine Szene wohl nicht Mutter Natur’s eigentlichem Plan entsprechen dürfte, finde ich, dass sie zum Thema passt. Es ist mal wieder ein Werk, dass dem letzten ISDI entstammt, Vorgabe war das Toastbrot von Peerke. Die Ameisen und den größen Teil der Speisen durfte ich bei Heidi ausleihen. Falls irgendjemand weiß, von welcher Firma die Ameisen stammen: lasst es mich bitte wissen, die hätte ich nämlich zu gerne auch für meinen eigenen Bestand! Die Karte ist übrigens im Rahmen des ISDI-Berichts auch in der aktuellen Ausgabe von Just Stamps zu sehen *stolz-bin*

Nature is this week’s challenge at the three muses. Well, I don’t think that this little scene fits mother nature’s original plan, but I do think it goes well with the theme. I made the card for the last ISYI-project where I had to work around the slice of toast. I borrowed the ants and most of the food from Heidi. If anybody knows which company does the ant-stamps: please let me know – I so want them! The card can also be found in the current issue of the only German stampers‘ mag Just Stamps *being-proud*

Bei den drei Musen sind diese Woche Briefmarken aller Art gefragt. Ich habe das zum Anlass genommen mal wieder ein paar Artistamps zu fabrizieren – übrigens mein allererster kompletter Bogen. Der Text ist kompletter Nonsens.

Bei den drei Musen sind Zitate und Redewendungen das Thema der Woche. Da sich letzte Woche der Todestag von George Orwell zum sechzigsten Mal gejährt hat, habe ich mich für einen seiner berühmtesten Sätze entschieden. Absolut großartig finde ich allerdings immernoch den allerersten Satz des Buchs: Die Uhren schlugen dreizehn.

Quips and Quotes are this week’s challenge at the three muses. As George Orwell was sixty years dead last thursday I chose one of his most famous sentences for my card. To me, one of the most perfect sentences in the book is the very first one:  The clocks were striking thirteen. The german bit on my card translates „The quill is mightier than the sword.“

Bei den drei Musen ist „Wasser“ das Thema der Woche. Ich habe gerade neulich für einen Swap auf gibgummi Loriot-ATCs gemacht und finde, dass diese hier prima zum Thema passt.

The three muses have challenged us to do something about „water“ this week and I thougt that this ATC matches the subject. I don’t have to explain this to german readers as I think everybody knows Loriot’s famous cartoon about „Gentleman in the Bath“ – two men  (Herr Müller-Lüdenscheid und Herr Doktor Klöbener) in a hotel bathtub arguing about who’s room/bathroom it is, what temperature the water should be, who can hold his breath longer under water and that the one’s rubberduck is not going to „share the water“ with the other one. The discussion is eventually ended by a third gentleman coming in, also in search for his room – the one shown on this ATC.

Bei den drei Musen sind diese Woche Flaschen und Gläser das Thema. Da hab‘ ich doch noch was! Das Einmachglas mit dem halb offenen Deckel war die Vorgabe von Geesche beim aktuellen ISDI. Wie man sieht, war ich noch in Hallowe’en-Stimmung als ich die Karte gemacht habe.

The three muses have challenged us to show works with bottles and jars this week – here“s what I found in my drawer. I made this card for the current ISYI-project. The half-open jar was given, the rest is my creation. You can probably tell that I was still in a hallowe’eny mood when I made this.

Träume sind diese Woche das Thema bei den drei Musen. Und meine Träume sind eigentlich immer in erster Linie schräg. Deshalb finde ich, dass diese Karte wunderbar in die Kategorie passt. Gemacht habe ich sie für das laufenden ISDI-Projekt, die Vorgabe (von Ulrike) war dabei das große Rhinozeros rechts.

This week the three muses have challenged us to do something about dreams. My dreams are always and mainly weird. So I thought that this card matches the category very well. I made it for the current ISYI-project, the big rhino on the right was the challenge given by Ulrike.
