Bei den drei Musen<\/a> ist diese Woche die allseits beliebte Farbkombination schwarz-wei\u00df-rot gefragt. Da war doch noch was\u2026 Diese Hochzeitskarte habe ich \u2013 unschwer zu erkennen \u2013 f\u00fcr einen Schachspieler und seine Liebste gebastelt.<\/p>\n

In der Mitte steht das Hochzeitsgedicht von Wilhelm Busch: O wie lieblich, o wie schicklich\u2026<\/p>\n

The three muses<\/a> want to see the alltime-favourite colour-combo of black-white-red this week. There was something I\u2019ve been wanting to show you anyway\u2026 I made this wedding-card for a chess-player and his sweetheart.<\/p>\n

The text on the front side translates: A declaration of love is similar to a ches-opening \u2013 the consequences are in calculable.<\/p>\n

In the middle section there is a wedding-poem by the unique Wilhelm Busch<\/a>, I\u2019m not very good at rhymes but I tried to translate the words for you. I tried my best to catch the elated tone of voice but I\u2019m afraid I\u2019m nowhere near. Hope you still get the idea:<\/p>\n

O how lovely, how becoming, so to speak even joyous,<\/p>\n

it always is for a neighbourhood<\/p>\n

when two people of good wealth,<\/p>\n

and also content with themselves<\/p>\n

well, when those, I tell you people,<\/p>\n

at last get together the papers needed<\/p>\n

and also sort out their matters domestic,<\/p>\n

and with honor and in due time,<\/p>\n

step towards the civil registry office,<\/p>\n

just as is, for those who love,<\/p>\n

stipulated by the law.<\/p>\n

Then everybody will cry with joy:<\/p>\n
