Diese Woche geht ein ganz gro\u00dfes Dankesch\u00f6n von den Daring Cardmakers an Beckie<\/a>. Sie hat n\u00e4mlich organisiert, dass wir diesen und n\u00e4chsten Monat von Ruby Rock It<\/a> aus Australien gesponsort werden. Und die waren ganz sch\u00f6n gro\u00dfz\u00fcgig, guckt mal! Und auch ihr k\u00f6nntet so ein tolles P\u00e4ckchen bald in den H\u00e4nden halten, wir d\u00fcrfen n\u00e4mlich noch eins davon unter unseren Teilnehmern verlosen.<\/p>\n

This week all of us Daring Cardmakers have reason to say a huge \u201cThank You\u201c to Beckie<\/a>. She has organized a sponsorship from Ruby Rock it<\/a> in Australia for this month and also for next. And they were really generous, look! And if you’re lucky you might even call such a lovely package your own as we were given an extra one that will go to a randomly chosen participant in our challenge.<\/p>\n

Nat\u00fcrlich gibt es zu diesen tollen Goodies auch eine Aufgabe: eine Babykarte soll es sein und sie soll ein bewegliches Element (\u201crocking\u201d) enthalten. F\u00fcr mich lag auf der Hand, dass es eine Wiege sein muss, die ich auf einem Wobble anbringe.<\/p>\n

Leider gab es in der Make the Cut Galerie kein passendes M\u00f6bel, also musste ich selber ran. Panik! Aber: war gar nicht so schwer: Drei Halbkreise, ein Bogen, ein Trapez und drei Rechtecke (und ein ganz kleiner Kreis, aber den sieht man eigentlich nicht mehr) \u2013 et voil\u00e0!. Leider waren die Wobbles zu gro\u00df f\u00fcr meine kleine Wiege (passend zum kleinen Storch, also schnell aus Draht eine kleine Spirale gedreht und die Wiege darauf fixiert. Geht doch!<\/p>\n

Allerdings: ich frage mich immernoch, ob es eine gute Idee war, den Frosch und den Storch zusammen auf einer Karte unterzubringen\u2026 *duck-und-weg*<\/p>\n

Of course there is also a challenge connected to these wonderful goodies: make a baby themed card with a rocking (moving) element. To me it was obvious that this element would have to be a rocking cradle that would be fixed on a wobble.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately I couldn\u2019t find any suitable furniture in the Make the Cut Gallery so I had to create it myself. Panic! But: it wasn\u2019t that difficult after all: three semi-circles, one arch, one trapeze and three rectangles (and one really small circle but I don\u2019t think you can see that) \u2013 et voil\u00e0! Unfortunately the wobbles prove too big for my tiny cradle (matching the tiny stork) so I made a little spiral from some wire and fixed the cradle on there.<\/p>\n

Btw: I still wonder if the little frog and the stork really do make a good combo on the card\u2026 *duck-and-run*<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
