Blumen sind diese Woche das Thema bei den Daring Cardmakers. Eigentlich nicht so ganz mein Thema, aber ich hatte sofort eine Idee mit der Gelliplate. Blo\u00df haperte es mit der Umsetzung, so dass ich jetzt sehr viele (also wirklich sehr, sehr viele. eine Menge. echt) mehr oder minder gelungene Blumenhintergr\u00fcnde zum Verarbeiten hier liegen habe.<\/p>\n

This week’s theme at the Daring Cardmakers‘ is flowers. Not necessarily my cup of tea but I had an idea straightaway that involved using my Gelliplate. Only it didn’t work out as planned. And now I have a lot (I mean really, really a lot. loads. seriously) of flower prints in different qualities that want to be made into cards.<\/p>\n

Eine kleine Auswahl, alle mit demselben Stencil gemacht:<\/p>\n

A few samples to give an impression. They were all made using the same stencil:<\/p>\n

Nr. 1 – in einem gedruckt, aber auf den Blumen sollten eigentlich keine Punkte zu sehen sein<\/p>\n

No. 1 – printed in one go, but I didn’t want the dots to show on the flowers<\/p>\n

Nr. 2 – der letzte Druck, die Farbreste auf der Platte mit Wasser angel\u00f6st, es war urspr\u00fcnglich sehr viel Farbe auf der Platte<\/p>\n

No. 2 – final print from originally loads of paint on the plate, watered down to clean the plate<\/p>\n

Nr. 3 – am n\u00e4chsten an meiner urspr\u00fcnglichen Idee, in 2 Durchg\u00e4ngen gedruckt (erst Hintergrund, dann Blumen). war mir dann aber zu langweilig, so dass ich mich noch ein bisschen mit Stempeln, Stencil & Co. ausgetobt habe.<\/p>\n

No. 3 – closest to my original idea, printed in two goes (first the background then the flowers). I found it a little boring, though, so had a go at it with some stamps, a stencil etc.<\/p>\n
