Räder bzw. alles was Räder hat heißt das Thema der Woche bei den drei Musen. Die Karte habe ich für den Vater meines Liebsten zum Geburtstag gemacht – er träumt schon lange davon mit seinem Roller vom Ländle bis an den Gardasee zu cruisen.

Leider habe ich in meinem sonst recht umfangreichen Materialbestand kein einziges Foto von Jim Morrison und Co. gefunden, also musste ich improvisieren. Da speziell Herr Morrison das Motto „Sex, Drugs & Rock’n’Roll“ bisweilen ernster genommen hat als unbedingt gesund ist, konnte ich mir die Pillen im Hintergrund nicht verkneifen. Stellt sich bloß noch die Frage, ob „the other side“ dann schon im Jenseits liegt…

As I couldn’t find any picture of Jim Morrison & Co. in my (otherwise abundant) stash I had to improvise. As in particular Mr. Morrison apparently took the Motto „sex, drugs & rock’n’roll“ more serious at times than can be called healthy, I just couldn’t quite keep myself from putting some pills into the background. The only question that remains is whether „the other side“ is still quite of our world…

Communication is this week’s challenge at Think Monday – Think ATC. Again an ATC I don’t need to explain to German readers as they will all know this story. It refers to a Sketch by Loriot: the noodle. It presents a gentleman and his Ladyfriend, Fräulein Hildegard, in a restaurant. He tries to propose marriage to her over a cup of noodle-soup. Unluckily he places a noodle in his face when using his napkin. And this noodle then starts „wandering“ through his face throughout the conversation, constantly being removed and placed again. This completely vexes Fräulein Hildegard and ruins the whole conversation. A running-gag is his order „Say nothing just now, Fräulein Hildegard!“ My ATC shows this gentleman the morning after, still asking himself: „Why on earth hadn’t Hildegard said anything?“

„Mail Art“ ist das Thema dieser Woche bei den drei Musen. Ich habe das als Ansporn genommen, endlich mal wieder ein paar Artistamps zu stempeln – und dabei auch gleich noch ein paar Neuzugänge in Betrieb genommen.

This week’s challenge from the three muses is „Mail Art“ and it has inspired me to create some artistamps after a long while. Plus I made first use of a couple of new stamps.

Raben sind das Thema der Woche bei Think Monday – Think ATC und dazu passt dieses ATC, das ich für den alljährlichen schwarz-weiß-Swap bei Gibgummi gemacht habe. Farben sind bei diesem Swap nicht erlaubt, ausgenommen vielleicht „dunkelweiß“ und „hellschwarz“.

„The Raven“ is this week’s challenge at Think Monday – Think ATC. I made this ATC just recently for the annual black-and-white-ATC-swap on the gibgummi-mailinglist. This swap is strictly no-colours, but „darkwhite“ and „lightblack“ are generally accepted.

Tja, was ging wohl vor im Kopf der Mona Lisa, das sie zu diesem Lächeln veranlasste? Jedenfalls fasziniert Mona bis heute so sehr, dass sie diese Woche zum Thema bei Think Monday – Think ATC auserkoren wurde.

Will we ever know what was going on in Mona Lisa’s head that caused that smile? Anyway, Mona is still fascinating today and so was chosen challenge of the week at Think Monday – Think ATC.
