Diese Woche gibt es sozusagen die dramatische Fortsetzung der letzten Schokokarte. Außerdem passt die Karte zur aktuellen Herausforderung bei Sunday Postcard Art: „double take“ – man soll dasselbe Motiv zweimal verwenden, deshalb musste das außerirdische Monster diese Woche noch seinen Kumpel mitbringen.
Today’s choc of the week is sort of a dramatic next episode to last week’s. The card also meets the current challenge at Sunday Postcard Art: double take – the same motive was to be used twice, therefore the alien monster had to bring a pal along.

Zwei Fliegen mit einer Klappe: bei Crazy Amigo sind diese Woche „Scraplings“ gefragt. Den Ausdruck hatte ich noch nie gehört, das sind Karten in den Maßen 21,6 x 3,8 cm (8,5 x 1,5“), mal was ganz anderes und gar nicht so leicht für mich – schließlich mag ich am liebsten Quadrate. Und die zweite Fliege: bei Creavil gibt es ab heute einen neuen Challenge-Blog. Und dort sind für die nächsten zwei Wochen „Vögel“ das Thema.
P. S. Ich musste gerade feststellen, dass ich mein Scrapling wohl falsch gemacht habe: ich hätte die Karte vorher noch auf die Hälfte knicken sollen. Mir gefällt’s so aber trotzdem.

Scraplings measure 21,6 x 3,8 cm (8,5 x 1,5“), something rather different and quite a challenge for me – after all I like squares best. And Creavil have started a new challenge-blog today. Challenges are given every 15th and 30th each month and the first challenge is „birds.“
P. S. I just realized I did my Scrapling wrong. You’re supposed to double-fold the card before stamping. But I still like mine.

Dann kriegst du vielleicht sogar in einer grauen Welt rosa Seifenblasen zustande. Insofern ist diese Karte sozusagen ein Ratschlag an mich selbst.
Schwarz und Weiß sind diese Woche bei den drei Musen gefragt und bei den Mittwochsstempelern sind Blätter (und Blüten – okay…) bzw. etwas Altes und etwas Neues gefragt: also, der Blätterstempel ist brandneu, das Mädel mit den Seifenblasen habe ich schon etwas länger.
This card is sort of a suggestion to myself: be passionate and make pink bubbles in a grey world.
Black and white are this week’s challenge from the three muses. And the wednesdaystampers have asked for leaves (well, and pods…) or something old and something new: well, the leaves-stamp is brandnew whereas the girl with the bubbles isn’t.

Noten sind das Thema der Woche bei Think Monday – Think ATC. Und euch muss ich den Rest wohl nicht weiter erklären…
Sheet Music is this week’s challenge at Think Monday – Think ATC. The text up top translates „yodeling-diploma“. It refers to a sketch by Loriot (who also did this lovely cartoon) about people studying at the open university to get their yodeling-diploma. A husbands informs a reporter that he has he wife take this class because he wants her to „have something of her own“ – Meine Frau soll was Eigenes haben. A sentence that has become a bit of a winged word. The text on the seal at the right hand side translates „this is art“.
