Bei den Daring Cardmakers steht diese Woche die Foto-Inspiration für den Monat Mai an. Ich habe mal wieder mit Brushos gespielt und mich für die Elemente Baum, Fahrrad und Farben entschieden.
This week it’s time for the monthly Daring Cardmakers picture inspiration challenge. I had a little play with Brusho pigments and went for the following elements: tree, bi-(or… well… tri-)cycle and colours.
5 Jahre ist die britische Kronprinzenhochzeit nun her – Grund genug für Miri um sich als Wochenthema bei den Daring Cardmakers Karten rund um das Thema Hochzeit zu wünschen.
Meine Karte hatte allerdings ihre eigenen Pläne und ist so eher zur Verlobungskarte geraten, aber ich finde, dass sie trotzdem ins Thema passt.

My card had plans of its own and turned out to be more of an engagement card, but I still think that it goes with the theme.
Diese Woche stellt Leo das Thema bei den Daring Cardmakers und es geht aus das Beste aus dem Lieblingscafé. Kaffee ist ja so gar nicht meins, Kakao geht da schon eher. Aber das Beste sind doch die Menschen, mit denen man ihn trinkt, oder?
Die Idee für den Aufbau der Karte habe ich hemmungslos bei Hermine abgekupfert.
It’s Leo’s turn to choose this week’s Daring Cardmakers challenge and it’s all about coffee shop favourits. I don’t like coffee at all but will sometimes go for hot chocolate. But the best is usually the person I have the chocolate with.

Diese Woche möchte Lythan bei den Daring Cardmakers Buddhas Geburtstag mit uns feiern. Für’s Foto habe ich mir mal kurz den kleineren Buddha meines Lieblingsyogis ausgeliehen.

…ob das Wetter nun mitspielt oder nicht. Kathy hat sich diese Woche bei den Daring Cardmakers Karten gewünscht, die den Frühling mit (Sprung-)federn und anderen hüpfenden, beweglichen Sachen feiern. Extrapunkte gibt es, wenn sich auf der Karte tatsächlich etwas bewegt.
Ich finde, das ist eine perfekte Gelegenheit die Steampunk-Blumen von Chocolate Baroque endlich mal zum Einsatz zu bringen.

Technically speaking this is spring… no matter the weather. This week at the Daring Cardmakers‘ Kathy has asked us to make some cards that celebrate spring with springs and bouncing things. She promised virtual gold stars for actual moving elements on our cards.
The perfect occasion to finally make use of the beautiful Chocolate Baroque steampunk flowers.

Nat stellt diese Woche die Challenge bei den Daring Cardmakers und sie hat sich Karten mit Kraft-farbenen Elementen gewünscht. Ich liebe Kraft als Hintergrund, aber dieses Mal wollte ich etwas anderes ausprobieren und habe schön mit Gelatos geschmaddelt. Ich wollte gerne noch ein paar Tröpfchen mit einarbeiten und habe es erst mit Wasser und dann mit Bleiche versucht, was… äh… bedingt geklappt hat. Das Kraft-Element ist der ausgeplotterte Schriftzug.
It’s Nat’s turn to name the theme for this week’s Daring Cardmakers challenge and she wants cards with krafty elements. I love kraft as a background but wanted to try something else for today so went for gelato colours instead. I also wanted to create a drop-stained background and tried water as well as bleach – not to much effect. My krafty element is the „hello“ which I cut with my silhouette.
Schnell soll es gehen bei den Daring Cardmakers diese Woche: Dawn hat sich Karten zum Thema „need for speed“ gewünscht. Eigentlich geht es um Fahrzeuge aller Art, wozu so ein Einkaufswagen eher… bedingt zu zählen ist – aber immerhin hat er Räder! Außerdem war es so ziemlich das dynamischste Motiv, das ich auftreiben konnte und der Stempel ist außerdem ganz neu und also besonders schnell zum Einsatz gekommen.
Things are moving fast at the Daring Cardmakers‘: Dawn has chosen the theme „need for speed“ this week. It’s actually about all kinds of vehicles and I’m not sure you’d usually count a shopping-cart in that category – but at least it does have wheels! Also it was about the most dynamic motive I could come up with. And the stamp is brand new and has thus been used extra-fast.
